RIDES

IMPORTANT RIDE INFORMATION

Rides Staging Area- Will be starting at 9:30am Springmaid Beach Boulevard in front of hotel. 

Rides- There will be two escorted rides on both October 7th and October 8th on each day. One will be escorted by South Carolina XIV to Moncks Corner SC and the other will be escorted by South Carolina V to Florence SC.

To make less work and the use of less resources for the Horry County Sheriffs, both rides each day will be leaving at 10:00am and escorted to the county line on Route 378. From there, SCXIV will break off for Moncks Corner SC and SCV will break off for Florence SC.

  • Riders and Passengers must fill out waiver form.
  • Riders should assemble 30 minutes prior to rides for information and safety briefing. Bug Splat bullseye 50/50 stickers available for purchase. Lunch is on-your-own at designated stops. HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS!
  • Rides will be in a staggered formation.
  • We use hand signals with group rides and ask that you pass those back.
  • Point out any hazards along the route.
  • Road Captains and Road Guards will have a Hi Visibility vest for identification, They will lead your section of the ride if the group gets separated
  • Trikes to the rear of the formation.
  • All bikes side by side when stopped at light/stop sign.
Keep the group tight. Trikes to stay in the middle of the lane when stopped.

Wednesday, October 7 – Ride 1

RIDE #1, TO CONWAY SC

KSU 10:00am

Staging Starts: 9:30am

Safety Briefing: 9:45am

94 miles to Benito’s. 25 miles back to hotel.

Bug Splat stickers available for purchase

This guided ride will be police escorted up to the Horry county line. South Carolina XIV will take you through the low country to the town of Conway SC. The group will stop at Benito’s 905 restaurant to have lunch for some good Italian food. KSU back to the hotel will be determined by the road captain. You may ride back yourself if you wish.

Wednesday, October 7 – Ride 2

RIDE #2, TO FLORENCE SC

KSU 10:00am

Staging Starts: 9:30am

Safety Briefing: 9:45am

90 miles each way

Bug Splat stickers available for purchase

This guided ride will be police escorted up to the Horry county line. South Carolina XIV will take you through the low country to the town of Florence SC. The ride will end at Black Jack Harley Davidson where they will provide sandwiches and beverages. If sandwiches are not your thing, right on the opposite side of Interstate 95 is the famous Buckee’s. KSU back to the hotel will be determined by the road captain. You may ride back yourself if you wish.

Thursday, October 8 – Ride 1

RIDE #1, TO CONWAY SC

94 miles to Benito’s. 25 miles back to hotel.
